Fitrana Money
Fitrana, also known as Zakat al-Fitr, is a mandatory charitable donation
in Islam.
It is typically given during the holy month of Ramadan, just before the
Eid al-Fitr festival.
Muslims who can afford it are required to give Fitrana to help those in
need.

Charity Tradition
The purpose of Fitrana is to purify the fast and provide a means for the less fortunate to join in the celebration of Eid. The amount is fixed and is intended to cover the basic needs of a person for the day. It is a way for Muslims to express gratitude for the blessings they’ve received and ensure that everyone can partake in the joy of Eid.
